California Teachers Collaborative for Holocaust and Genocide Education Grant Application
The California Teachers Collaborative connects content experts, educators, genocide survivors, and community leaders from across the state to support middle and high school teachers in teaching about the Holocaust and genocide. This Collaborative will result in developing a shared vision and comprehensive library of interactive curricula that is accessible to teachers and students across the state. Additionally, workshops and activities will help expand reach and provide more accessible resources that align with state curriculum standards.
The California Teachers Collaborative was established by the JFCS Holocaust Center, with support from the California Department of Education, Marin County Office of Education, and the State of California.
As part of the effort to meet these goals, grant awards of $10,000 – 50,000 are available to eligible organizations or individuals. Please complete the following application and include requested documents no later than May 7, 2025.
Applications will be reviewed when all final supporting financial documentation (IRS non-exempt status or fiscal sponsor documentation; Form 990, and a proposed budget) is also submitted to JFCS by May 7 at: [email protected]
