Enduring Voices: Preserving Holocaust Memory Through Education
Join Holocaust Museum LA for a FREE, powerful, and practical professional development experience designed to help educators teach Holocaust history with confidence, empathy, and relevance in Commemoration of International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
This session will:
- Explore best practices for teaching the Holocaust
- Highlight free classroom resources, including primary sources, teacher guides, and curriculum from HMLA
- Feature a descendant of a Holocaust survivor, sharing their family’s story and how to bring survivor voices to your classroom
- Offer strategies to foster critical thinking, compassion, and civic engagement through Holocaust education
Who Should Attend:
Teachers, administrators, curriculum specialists, and educators seeking to enhance Holocaust education in their classrooms.
All participants will receive:
- Access to HMLA’s digital and print teaching resources
- Guidance on inviting survivor descendants to your school
- Lunch will be provided.
- $150 stipend available for current educators.
