Learn new strategies and techniques to teach about the Armenian Genocide, its societal preconditions, stages, and present-day implications for the recent genocide in the Armenian region of
Artsakh. Local experts and generational survivors will discuss the Central California Armenian experience in collaborative sessions that connect content to practice, exploring how to design classroom experiences that engage students in learning about painful truths while cultivating compassion, resilience, and responsibility.
