Summer Institute 2026 Application

Thank you for your interest in the 2026 Summer Institute with the California Teachers Collaborative for Holocaust and Genocide Education, June 21 – 24, 2026, in Los Angeles! Please complete the application fields below so that we may learn a bit more about you and your interest.

SECTION 1—Eligibility Criteria

As a program of the California Department of Education, the CA Teachers Collaborative serves a statewide mission to enhance the teaching of the Holocaust and genocide in California schools. As such, we are prioritizing applicants who meet the specifications below.

Are you actively employed as a middle or high school teacher, instructional coach, or administrator within an accredited California school?(Required)
Do you commit to attending required quarterly online cohort meetings during the 2026–2027 academic year?(Required)
Are you available to attend the 2026 Summer Institute in Los Angeles in its entirety? (5:00pm on June 21 to 3:00pm on June 24, 2026) Lodging will be provided at no cost and travel will be reimbursed.(Required)
Do you commit to implementing new curriculum materials produced by the California Teachers Collaborative with students in your class/school during the 2026 – 2027 school year?(Required)
Do you commit to sharing the curriculum materials with 5 – 10 additional teachers in a professional learning session in 2026 – 2027?(Required)
