This lesson explores the experiences of Jewish women who resisted Nazi oppression as partisans during World War II. Through film, primary sources, and interactive activities, students learn about the unique challenges these women faced due to both antisemitism and sexism, their acts of courage and leadership, and their critical roles in resistance efforts. The lesson fosters empathy, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of gender, identity, and moral choice in times of crisis.
