This three-lesson unit lesson teaches students about the Uyghur Genocide—an ongoing genocide and underreported human rights crisis happening since 2017 in China. They will gain an understanding of the history, dimensions, and denial of the Uyghur genocide as well as suggested activities for individual and collective responses to this neglected genocide.
